Businesses can track and connect with couriers and follow up on their orders - all in one system.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About The Role :</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Sorting Facility Supervisor oversees daily receiving and sorting of the bulky orders.&nbsp;<br>This role ensures packages are processed accurately and efficiently, meets service-level targets, maintains safety and compliance standards, and leads assigned team members to support on-time shipments.&nbsp;</p> <p></p>\n<p></p><p><br></p><b>Job Responsibilities : </b><div> <ul> <li> <p>Oversee daily sorting operations to ensure packages are correctly routed, labelled, and staged for dispatch.</p> </li> <li> <p>Monitor production and quality metrics, including throughput, mis-sort rates, scanning accuracy, and error reduction.</p> </li> <li> <p>Lead and coach team members (sorters, loaders, and/or yard staff), including shift scheduling, task assignment, and performance feedback.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure compliance with safety policies (forklift safety rules, housekeeping, and hazard reporting).</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate with dispatch/loading teams to ensure correct staging by route and priority.</p> </li> <li> <p>Troubleshoot process issues, including workflow bottlenecks, equipment downtime, labelling errors, and staffing gaps.</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain accurate records and logs related to productivity, attendance, incidents, and operational exceptions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Communicate escalation items to management, including chronic delays, equipment failures, or repeated quality issues.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support training and SOP adherence for scanning, sorting, rework, and claim/discrepancy processes.</p> </li> <li> <p>Participate in continuous improvement (5S, error-proofing, process standardization).</p> </li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>Job Qualifications :</b><div> <ul> <li> <p>Prior supervisory or lead experience 2+ years in a warehouse, distribution, shipping, or sorting environment.</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Working knowledge of shipping/fulfilment workflows (receiving, sortation, staging, loading, tracking/scanning).</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to read and interpret work instructions, labels, and route/staging guides.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong understanding of safety standards and safe work practices in a distribution environment.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficiency with basic systems/tools (e.g., scanning devices, handheld computers, WMS concepts).</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to lift up to 50 KG and perform physical work as needed during peak periods.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team on the floor.</p> </li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><p></p>\n
