Position Overview:   The Test Engineer is responsible for the testing and validation of the IRT systems. Working closely with the Senior Test Engineer and Project team, they are responsible for delivering a high quality system to the client. The role is available at our offices in Hyderabad and Bangalore.  \n Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responsible for testing through the entire lifecycle of a project, including test case development, execution and verification.</li> <li>Tracking and reporting software defects, along with verifying resolved issues in ticket tracking application.</li> <li>Analyzing the test strategy and test cases, and writing automated test scripts using Playwright, running the tests and reporting using the tool.</li> <li>Continuously improve the automation test coverage</li> <li>Understand and setup automation running of tests using the Azure DevOps platform.</li> <li>Assist in on-going process improvement for test case management.</li> <li>Manages defects and reports testing status to project teams and Lead Test Engineer.</li> <li>Provide the project team with testing progress and continuous risk assessment during the Testing phase.</li> <li>Support validation efforts by acquiring evidence during testing phase, as well as generating validation reports at cycle end.</li> <li>Proactively works to understand the major components of the product through training and client assignments.</li> <li>Address any production incidents, enhancements, or data changes within the defined timeframe.</li> <li>Create and execute test cases.</li> <li>Proactively works to understand the major components of the product through training and project assignments.</li> <li>Document traceability between testing and system requirements documentation in a timely manner.</li> <li>Complete all testing deliverables at the end of the testing cycle.</li> <li>Demonstrate efficient and accurate completion of all responsibilities.</li> </ul> Education:<ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or appropriate experience</li> </ul> Experience:<ul> <li>5 years’ experience working in software development, software testing or Quality Assurance.</li> <li>3+ years of automation testing, preferably using Playwright</li> <li>Experience in full Test lifecycle, including test strategy, test script creation, executing tests in headed and headless modes, reporting errors and tracking updates.</li> <li>Experience in integrating tests using CICD pipelines and automated execution, preferably in Azure DevOps.</li> <li>Some experience with testing automation.</li> <li>Strong ability to understand technical software concepts and comfortable interacting with databases.</li> <li>Previous experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment preferred.</li> <li>Prior experience testing voice (IVR) web (IWR) and mobile (IMR) platforms a big plus.</li> </ul> Skills:<ul> <li>Strong attention to detail.</li> <li>Software testing using Playwright or similar tool </li> <li>Excellent time management skills.</li> <li> Good communication skills.</li> <li>A high-level of attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to multi-task.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of professionals.</li> </ul> \n#LI-MT #LI-Onsite
