This role requires strong blueprint reading skills, advanced setup capability, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes on the shop floor.\n What you'll do:<div> <ul> <li data-renderer-start-pos="3">Perform complex CNC machine setups, including tooling, fixturing, and work offsets</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="89">Read and interpret advanced blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="178">Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="255">Hold tight tolerances (±.0005") and maintain high-quality standards</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="326">Conduct first-article inspections and in-process quality checks</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="393">Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, CMM, etc.)</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="485">Troubleshoot machining issues such as chatter, tool wear, and dimensional errors</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="569">Reduce cycle times while maintaining safety and quality</li> </ul> </div> Required qualifications:<div> <ul> <li data-renderer-start-pos="3">5+ years of CNC machining experience (or equivalent advanced experience)</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="79">Proficient in multi-axis machining (3-axis minimum; 4/5-axis preferred)</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="154">Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="208">Demonstrated ability to perform full machine setups independently</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="277">Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="332">Use of hand tools, manual machines, saws, drill presses.</li> </ul> </div> Preferred qualifications:<div> <ul> <li data-renderer-start-pos="3">Experience with aerospace, defense, or other high-precision manufacturing environments</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="93">Quick turnaround Prototype Machining experience</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="144">Familiarity in CAM systems (MasterCam, Fusion 360)</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="198">Experience operating with Siemens Controls</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="244">Experience with Fanuc and/or DN Solutions controls</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="298">Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience</li> </ul> </div> \n<div>$24 - $37 an hour</div>\n#LI-JM1 #LC Full-time regular employee offer package:Pay within range listed + Bonus + Benefits + Equity Temporary employee offer package:Pay within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment) Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
