The Quality Engineering Inspector is a critical role in the manufacturing of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. As a Quality Engineering Inspector, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every aircraft and its subcomponents we produce meets the highest standards of precision and reliability.\n What you'll do:<ul> <li>Ensure the assembly documentation is accurate and complete</li> <li>Observe assembly, lay-up, and torque operations</li> <li>Conduct dimensional inspections on both parts and assemblies</li> <li>Examine raw materials, piece-parts, and final assemblies</li> <li>Interpret specifications, drawings, tolerances, and additional requirements</li> <li>Document inspection and test results through logs, graphs, reports, and local systems</li> <li>Execute other tasks related to the position as directed by leadership </li> </ul> Required qualifications:<ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required</li> <li>Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a Quality Inspector role within aerospace manufacturing or a related industry</li> <li>Practical experience with various inspection techniques and equipment (DMM, calipers, micrometers, etc.)</li> <li>Capable of performing inspections using assembly instructions and engineering drawings</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to use precision measurement tools and calibrated equipment effectively</li> <li>Strong technical and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, across various levels within the organization</li> <li>Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of quality-centric practices and processes </li> </ul> Preferred qualifications:<ul> <li>Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is preferred</li> <li>Certification from a recognized quality institution like ASQ (American Society for Quality) is advantageous</li> <li>Certification in AS9100 or similar quality management standards in aerospace is a plus</li> <li>Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies</li> <li>Proficiency in reading, understanding, and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and engineering drawings </li> </ul> \n<div>$22 - $33 an hour</div>\n#LI-JM1 #LB Full-time regular employee offer package:Pay within range listed + Bonus + Benefits + Equity Temporary employee offer package:Pay within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment) Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
