This role will focus on ensuring the organization adheres to global regulatory requirements while implementing best-in-class corporate governance practices. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of regulatory environments, corporate governance structures, and ethical business practices. They will collaborate with senior leaders, boards, and cross-functional teams to promote a culture of compliance and accountability across the organization.\n Information Security Responsibilities<ul><li>Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols</li><li>Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets</li><li>Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)</li><li>Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information</li></ul> Information Security Responsibilities<ul><li>Information Security Responsibilities</li><li>Awareness on information security measures such as acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, password security</li><li>Understand and report security risks and how they impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets</li><li>Understand how data is stored, processed, or transmitted from a Data privacy and protection standpoint</li></ul> Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Compliance Leadership:</li><li>Develop, implement, and manage a global compliance program that aligns with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.</li><li>Monitor compliance with regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, FCPA, anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, trade compliance, and other applicable global standards.</li><li>Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.</li><li>Oversee compliance audits and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.</li><li> </li><li>Corporate Governance Oversight:</li><li>Establish and maintain corporate governance policies and practices, including board governance, shareholder engagement, and regulatory filings, as applicable.</li><li>Provide guidance on governance matters to senior leadership and the Board of Directors, ensuring alignment with best practices and applicable laws.</li><li>Lead the preparation and management of board and committee meetings, including developing agendas, preparing minutes, and managing resolutions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with corporate governance frameworks, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, where applicable.</li><li> </li><li>Training and Culture Development:</li><li>Develop and deliver global training programs to promote awareness and understanding of compliance and governance obligations.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and ethical behavior across the organization.</li><li> </li><li>Policy Development and Communication:</li><li>Draft, review, and update corporate policies and procedures related to compliance, governance, and ethics. </li><li>Communicate policy changes and ensure adherence across all business units and regions.</li><li> </li><li>Stakeholder Collaboration and Advisory:</li><li>Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing guidance on compliance and governance-related issues.</li><li>Collaborate with Legal, Finance, HR, IT, and Operations to align governance and compliance efforts with organizational objectives.</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and external auditors.</li></ul><div> </div><ul><li>Incident Management and Reporting:</li><li>Investigate and resolve compliance and governance-related incidents, ensuring timely reporting to relevant authorities when required.</li><li>Prepare and present periodic reports on compliance and governance performance to senior management and the Board.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, corporate governance, or legal advisory roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.</li><li>Experience in a global or multinational organization, particularly in the technology services industry, is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong knowledge of global compliance frameworks and corporate governance best practices.</li><li>Expertise in regulatory requirements, including data protection laws, anti-corruption legislation, and corporate disclosure obligations.</li><li>Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) certification, or equivalent certifications preferred.</li></ul> \nBounteous x Accolite is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
