Key Responsibilities Build and manage a qualified pipeline of USAF opportunities aligned with RMC’s growth priorities. Develop and execute targeted account strategies across Air Force organizations, including AFLCMC, AFRL, and operational units. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including program offices, contracting officials, and technical leaders. Conduct continuous market research and customer engagement to identify mission needs, funding trends, and emerging requirements. Shape opportunities in the pre-RFP phase by influencing requirements, acquisition strategies, and positioning. Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity tracking within the CRM system. Lead teaming strategy development, including identifying and engaging strategic partners. Collaborate with technical SMEs and operational leaders to align solutions with customer mission objectives. Support internal gate reviews and qualification processes to ensure alignment with corporate priorities. Deliver regular pipeline updates, forecasts, and market intelligence to executive leadership. Represent RMC at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements to enhance visibility and access. Bachelor’s degree in Business, a technical discipline, or related field (preferred). 8+ years of experience in DoD business development, with a focus on Air Force customers. Demonstrated success identifying, qualifying, and capturing opportunities, including wins exceeding $50M. Established relationships within Air Force acquisition and mission organizations (e.g., AFLCMC, AFRL, operational units) strongly preferred. Strong understanding of Air Force acquisition processes, contract vehicles, and funding mechanisms. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both external customers and internal stakeholders. Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to operate independently in a growth-oriented environment. Active security clearance preferred but not required.
