RMC is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Security Specialist to support the issuance and management of Common Access Cards (CACs) for authorized personnel, including military members, civilian employees, and contractors. Issue, verify, and manage Common Access Cards. Perform accurate data entry in systems such as DEERS (Defense Eligibility Enrollment Reporting System) and Real-time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS). Ensure access control and compliance with security protocols. Provide excellent customer service, assisting individuals with CAC-related questions or issues. Operate computer systems, including DEERS and RAPIDS, to manage access permissions. Develop and maintain Standardized Operating Procedures (SOPs). Support in ensuring compliance with material records management procedures. Previous history and knowledge of how to handle secure information in an office environment An Associate’s Degree with five (5) years of relevant experience or a High School diploma or GED equivalent with six (6) years of relevant experience is required. Advanced working knowledge of MS Office and a willingness to learn other duties as assigned. Must have a working knowledge of processing CAC/USID/R/DEERS/TRICARE needs. Working knowledge of DISS and Lenel systems is desired. The candidate must also have a high degree of customer focus and provide exceptional customer service. An active DoD secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
