Join this supportive and friendly team who all work well together, as 2IC you will also work closely with the Farm Manager.  You will help to implement farm plans and take on a degree of responsibility for feed allocation, animal health and breeding and animal records.  You will also be happy to muck in and support the team where needed. On the Farm Managers Day off, you will take responsibility for the team, ensuring everything runs smoothly. ABOUT US Pāmu Landcorp Farming Limited is a State-Owned Enterprise with over 110 farms across New Zealand. Our purpose is to lead the delivery of innovative and sustainable agriculture solutions for future generations. THE FARM Tongariro Organic Dairy Farm is a 207 effective hectare organic property, milking approximately 450 cows at peak through a 50-bail rotary shed equipped with MilkHub technology. The farm is part of the Moutoa Organic Complex, a group of seven neighbouring farms that provide scale, support, and shared expertise. The farm is well set up to support efficient herd management and modern farming practices. Location is a standout - just 5 minutes from Foxton, 10 minutes from Levin, and 25 minutes from Palmerston North. With the Manawatū River nearby, the area offers excellent lifestyle and recreational opportunities alongside a strong rural community. ABOUT YOU You are self-motivated and passionate about dairy farming, wanting to grow your career and develop your leadership skills.
