The quality coordinator's responsibilities include inspecting materials, processes and products, ensuring compliance with new and existing quality standards and regulations, implementing quality management actions, and contributing to the development of company policies and procedures. The quality coordinator provides quality support to projects from the planning phase to project completion. To be successful as a quality coordinator you should be able to ensure that all materials, processes, and procedures meet regulatory and quality standards, and promptly resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise. Key Responsibilities Ensures compliance with current regulations Monitors and reports on all activities, processes, and procedures Develops internal auditing tools and conducts internal audits and reports Determines data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans Performs regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality and safety policies Assists with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures Provides departments with quality planning and support Conducts or assists with regulatory and quality training sessions Prepares and maintains quality management documentation Degree in a related field At least 2 years of experience working with quality systems Knowledge of ISO 9001,22000,14001 is appreciated Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service Excellent negotiation skills Ability to remain calm and courteous in demanding situations.
