Position Summary The Hostess is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression for guests in the hotel’s food and beverage outlets. This role ensures seamless seating arrangements, manages reservations efficiently, and enhances the overall guest experience by providing exceptional hospitality. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional demeanor. Manage reservations and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize service flow. Escort guests to their tables and provide menus while explaining any special offers or promotions. Communicate with servers and other staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Maintain a well-organized reception area, ensuring cleanliness and a professional ambiance. Handle guest inquiries and accommodate special requests when possible. Monitor wait times and inform guests of any delays with courtesy and professionalism. Uphold hotel and brand service standards, ensuring guests receive a consistent and memorable experience. Assist with administrative tasks, such as logging guest preferences, managing booking software, and compiling reports as required. Comply with health and safety regulations, ensuring that dining areas adhere to hygiene and safety standards. Previous experience in a hostess, front-of-house, or customer service role preferred. Experience in a hotel or upscale restaurant environment is an advantage. Knowledge of reservation management systems is a plus. Fluency in English; additional languages are beneficial. Degree in hospitality or hospitality-related training is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Warm, welcoming, and guest-oriented demeanor. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations. Attention to detail and professional presentation.
