Job DescriptionOverview SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for our current contract in support of our Government customer at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.  Essential Job Duties Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and component, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problemConnects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other componentsInspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codesAdvises management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardousTests electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of systemInspects existing facilities and installations as required by the statement of workLocates and repairs defects in electrical systems and identify circuit Life, Health, and Safety (LHS) issuesEstimates and orders supplies and materials neededRecommends improvements and revisions to current maintenance proceduresDemonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide high quality, seamless servicePerforms other duties as assigned
