Job DescriptionOverview SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Senior Chinese Linguist – Instruction/Testing in Northern Virginia. In this role you will provide language instruction in a professional environment with responsibility for lesson planning, delivery, and assessment of learning. Strong inter-personal and communications skills are a must to supportively engage with adult students.  Essential Job Duties Deliver instruction to students ranging on a starting level from 0 to 3 to raise their proficiency level on the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR). Execute the full cycle of lesson development/planning, instruction, and student assessment.  Develop lesson plans for appropriate for beginners, intermediate, and advanced classes. Facilitate classes focused on real-world scenarios to develop student's skills in speaking, listening, and reading for both social and professional situations. Provide students with constructive feedback. Consult and collaborate with customers on organization needs to further student success. Assess students’ learning and proficiency levels base in the ILR scale.
