Lead the application of ASC 606/IFRS 15 to complex crypto-native transactions (e.g., spot trading fees, staking rewards, NFT royalties, etc.). Develop and maintain robust revenue recognition and reporting processes tailored to crypto products and services. Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies. Oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to ensure proper revenue accounting treatment for new product launches. Identify and implement improvements to revenue systems, processes, and controls, leveraging blockchain data and automation tools. Implement and monitor internal controls over revenue cycles to ensure SOX compliance and mitigate risks. Support internal and external audit requests, staying current with evolving accounting standards and crypto industry best practices. Manage and mentor the Revenue team, fostering collaboration across departments and developing junior team members. Lead or participate in special projects related to financial infrastructure, new product launches, and strategic initiatives.
